MARAM GmbH in Eschwege

The property at Max-Woelm-Street 4 in past was used as production facility for pharmaceutical products and food supplements (Woelm Pharma and Julphar Pharma).

With the purchase of the approximately 30,400 sqm site in 2018, a new chapter on the subsequent use or

reactivation of the location is to be opened.

So far, no substantive stipulation has been made regarding future uses. Numerous discussions with representatives of city, district, business development agency, project planners etc. confirms the character of the building arrangement directly next to the city train station and with its own adjacent spacious parking lot (including the possibility of expansion)  as a unique selling point.

With a new use, the area has outstanding potential functions for the urban structure in the Center of Eschwege.

This is particularly so in view of the train station environment, which is predominantly characterized by living space.

LOCATION-Ways ESCHWEGE

Eschwege is easy to reach via highway A4, A7 (A38) and the A 44 under construction. The journey from the major centers and university cities of Kassel and Göttingen takes only half an hour, from Erfurt 1 hour. The medium-sized centers Bad Hersfeld and Eisenach can also be reached in half an hour.

ESCHWEGE surprised

The half-timbered town with its seven districts is home to around 20,000 people. The cities of Kassel,

Göttingen, Bad Hersfeld are approx. 50 km away, Eisenach approx. 40 km. The driveway to the A44 highway

under construction can be reached in 5 minutes after completion.

 

The district town of Eschwege has an extensive range of culture and education: the city museum, city archive,

city library, adult education center and music school are just as much a part of an excellent cultural infra-

structure as the high number of clubs and recreational opportunities the community. Culture is a piece of

quality of life, which is an important soft location factor for Eschwege. In addition to the above There are

numerous actors in institutions with very different programs, for example the young theater,

the Schäferhof, the cowslip or the soul house.
